For several years, Russell Thornberry and Dudley Hall have co-sponsored a men’s retreat focused on fun and ministry at the beautiful facility at Tesoro Escondido Ranch in Mineral Wells, Texas.
- Fly-fishing Seminar — Taught by Russell. He is one of the best in the world and a great instructor. Last year, even those of us who were rank amateurs started to look good.
- Turkey-calling Seminar – Tips and practice on calling up that big gobbler, this seminar ends with a contest including prizes for the best turkeys…er…callers.
- Shotgunning Workshop — Taught by Dudley — with time to pop a few shells at some clay targets.
- Archery Workshop — A 3-D archery course will be available with instruction on improving skills. BYOB: Bring your own Bow.

Speakers
Kenny Thacker is a musically gifted minister who carries a unique anointing for prophetic insight impacting today’s church, as well as a heart for true discipleship. His rare sense of humor opens hearts to receive the Word of God. Kenny’s passion is assisting people in discovering who they are in Christ, developing their gifts, and seeing them released into God’s purpose for their lives. He has been active in ministry for over 40 years as a Pastor, Worship Leader and popular national/international conference speaker. Originally from Kentucky, he and his beautiful wife, Lynn, now reside in Prosper, Texas, where he leads SoundWord Ministries.
Dudley Hall is a recognized teacher who has been blessed with extraordinary gifts for equipping the body of Christ. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelors degree from Samford University. Dudley’s formal ministry began in college leading youth evangelism crusades. Sensing a need for discipleship training beyond the initial “sinner’s prayer” experience, he developed a follow-up program to citywide evangelistic crusades that touched thousands. He has helped plant churches throughout the United States and Africa.
Dudley is passionate about the centrality of Jesus Christ and the proclamation and practice of the New Testament gospel. He mentors young men, business leaders, pastors and ministry leaders, connecting the generations in a single-minded pursuit of knowing the Father as only a son can. Dudley is gifted in empowering men to embrace their masculine spirituality and leadership roles. His teaching and discipleship materials are used around the world.
