Chris McRae, Senior Pastor of Sojourn Church in Carrollton, TX, grew up in Northwest Arkansas. He is the second son of four siblings to Don and Thelma McRae, who were Elders and Pastors in their church. Chris, along with his two brothers and one sister, were very involved in their church. They helped with outreach and community visits to church members weekly. At a very young age, Chris knew that he was called into ministry at a church level. After completing High School, Chris decided to move to Dallas, Texas to attend Christ for the Nations Institute, where he would be trained for preaching and sharing the gospel to a world who needs the freedom Christ paid for at the cross. This is where he met his wife, Vanessa who is from New Hampshire. They were married in 1998 in the Prayer Room at Sojourn Church.   During his education, Chris began working at Sojourn Church in various capacities. Early at Sojourn, he would spend time in the worship center straightening chairs and praying over each one thinking of the people who would sit in them. Soon, he and Vanessa began working in the Children’s Ministry, then the Youth Ministries, followed by the Families Ministry, leading to his current role of Senior Pastor, after more than 25 years of service.   Chris received his degree from The King’s University, Southlake, Texas. In 2023, he received his Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida. He and Vanessa now have four children, two of whom serve at Sojourn Church.   Chris is an author as his book “Shot In The Dark” released in October 2022 and “Success in Succession” in June 2024.   Chris enjoys time fishing and attending baseball games, especially when the Boston Red Sox are playing. He is passionate about preaching and seeing believers be the church to the unchurched.

Having served churches in various pastoral roles for more than 35 years, Tom now forms partnerships with pastors and their leadership teams to provide appropriate training and resources for their churches. Through Shared Life Services, he mentors, teaches, preaches, and assists leaders. He and his wife Joy live in Bedford, Texas, and have been married 40 years. They have five adult children, including spouses, and two grandsons.

Karis McCollum is an international teacher and trainer. After spending almost 10 years in the classroom, she now trains for Follett Software Company and works in the family business at Kerygma Ventures. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds her degree in Early Childhood Education, but now spends most of her time teaching adults. She and her husband, Brian, have a precious little boy named Fowler and love the role and responsibility of parenting. When she is not chasing Fowler around, Karis stays busy with women’s retreats, teacher in-services, software training, and other conferences. Karis and Brian are active in their local church and are committed to equipping the saints to fulfill our God given purpose on earth.

Kenny Thacker is a musically gifted minister who carries a unique anointing for prophetic insight impacting today’s church, as well as a heart for true discipleship. His rare sense of humor opens hearts to receive the Word of God. Kenny’s passion is assisting people in discovering who they are in Christ, developing their gifts, and seeing them released into God’s purpose for their lives. He has been active in ministry for over 40 years as a Pastor, Worship Leader and popular national/international conference speaker. Originally from Kentucky, he and his beautiful wife, Lynn, now reside in Prosper, Texas, where he leads SoundWord Ministries.

  Alan and Anne, his wife of more than 25 years, are the parents of Bennett and Abigail. They make their home in Winston-Salem, NC, where Alan has served as Senior Pastor of the historic and dynamic Reynolda Church, an Evangelical Presbyterian Congregation, for more than fifteen years. Alan loves golf, tennis, piano and still going on dates with Anne. Since 1997, Alan has authored four acclaimed books. Readers are inspired by the tapestry of word images that Alan paints and transformed as the truths of God’s Word become vivid in new ways. Currently, in addition to his pastoral leadership and weekly preaching, Alan ministers around the world sharing the light of God’s love.

Dudley Hall is a recognized teacher who has been blessed with extraordinary gifts for equipping the body of Christ. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelors degree from Samford University. Dudley’s formal ministry began in college leading youth evangelism crusades. Sensing a need for discipleship training beyond the initial “sinner’s prayer” experience, he developed a follow-up program to citywide evangelistic crusades that touched thousands. He has helped plant churches throughout the United States and Africa.
